Trouble Uploading Large ZIP Files to WooCommerce as Downloadable Products

I’m encountering an issue with my WooCommerce setup, and I hope someone can help me out. Here’s the situation:
Website Background: I run a digital product store using WooCommerce. The store primarily sells digital software and products related to making money online.
The Problem: I’m trying to upload a software file (ZIP format) to be used as a downloadable product on my WooCommerce store. The file size is approximately 264 MB. However, I’m facing a significant roadblock.
The Issue Details:
- My hosting plan with Hostinger allows for a maximum upload size of 2 GB, so the file size is well within the limits.
- I’ve successfully uploaded smaller files like images and PDFs, so it’s not a general upload issue.
- However, every time I attempt to upload a ZIP file of approximately 264 MB, the process gets stuck at a certain point and never completes.
- I’ve checked my server’s maximum execution time, which is currently set at 360. I’m not sure if this could be a contributing factor.
- I’ve also considered adjusting the maximum upload file size and max_input_time settings but I’m not sure if these will resolve the issue.
My Efforts So Far:
- I’ve tried various methods, including direct WordPress uploads, using the FTP File Manager within Hostinger’s hPanel, and even attempting to upload the file via FileZilla.
- Unfortunately, none of these methods have yielded a successful result.
What I Need: I need guidance on how to successfully upload these larger ZIP files to WooCommerce so that they can be listed as downloadable products on my site.
