Trouble using TWITTER HTML CODE with WP.

    I’ve copied the HTML code from my Twitter page to get that spiffy looking widget and no matter what I do I can’t post it.

    It’s HTML CODE. I use the HTML tag thing. Drag it up there, post, and nothing works. It just displays the code.
    And the wordpress twitter option looks to plain.

    I switched my theme to Titan for a number of reasons including the hope that I could place the code in more easily.
    Nothing. Still doesn’t work.

    So for now I’ll use the simple text one. But I want my spiffy one with the right colours and icon I made at Twitter.

    I’m afraid it sounds like the code is being stripped security reasons; can you link me to it?

    There is a Twitter widget allows you to display updates from a Twitter account in the sidebar of your wordpress.com blog. The others available don’t work because as Hanni said they use restricted codes which the software strips out.
