Trouble verifying wordpress site with meta tags

  Hi Happiness Engineer,

  I am trying to add meta tag’s to my blog for Google and Bing in order to request removal of content. I am sure that I am copying and pasting the meta tags to the right content boxes under WordPress’s tools heading. However, both of these sites fail to verify me as the owner.

  Is there anything I can do?

  You have the tags set correctly, but your blog is marked as private. Google and Bing won’t be able to see it if it isn’t public.
