    To activate a domain connection you need a paid plan. For most people the Starter Plan will do. Next you’ll be able to activate the domain connection.

    Hi there!

    Looks like you’ve since upgraded to the WordPress.com Starter plan. Would you mind sharing your domain name with us? You have two ways you can use an existing domain with us.

    1. Transfer the domain to WordPress.com (we’ll renew it for a year using the free domain credits that come with your yearly WordPress.com plan)
    2. Domain Connection (use your domain without transferring it to WordPress.com)

    Please click the link above and follow the instructions to start configuring your domain. Once your domain is ready, you can set it as the primary address on your WordPress.com site.
