Trouble with another blog: password reset & search function

    This question is in regards to ballsandwalnuts.com

    I’m having trouble resetting my password for ballsandwalnuts.com . I suspect it may be because I have more than one blog linked to the same email address, but I’m not sure. However, even if I use my username (Walnut) to reset the password, I still can’t get it to work. My computer remembers the old password, so I can still get into my wp-admin; I discovered the problem because I was unable to log in to this forum to post my main question (below) — it kept telling me my password was wrong.

    My main question is this: no matter what theme I pick for ballsandwalnuts.com, I cannot seem to get the Search widget to work. It’s been messed up ever since the upgrade. What can I do to resolve this?

    We cannot help you. That is not a free hosted WordPress>COM blog. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and not for WordPress.org software installs. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names.

    If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
