Trouble with authentication on Yahoo Site Explorer

  I signed for Yahoo Site Explorer and then pasted the authentication code into my WordPress.com blog. I have my own domain name http://thechangingways.com/ which is mapped here at wordpress.com

  However the authentication failed, probably because WordPress changed meta tag (even though I entered it correctly):

  the original was: <meta name=”y_key” content=”some code”>

  and wordpress changed it to: <meta name=”y_key” content=”some code” />

  As you can see the tag ends with ” /> instead of “>

  Yahoo says “We did not find the meta key”

  How do I resolve this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The problem is resolved now. Yahoo authenticated my site today, even though I changed absolutely nothing (nor did WordPress).

  It seem it takes some time for Yahoo to process the result, but they should not confuse users with “We did not find the meta key” then :))
