Trouble with blog subcriptions for some users.

  I have several people who have subscribed to my blog but still do not get e-mail notifications when i update with a new post.

  Exactly which blog URL is in play here?
  What are their username accounts or email addresses?
  Staff need them to examine what’s going on. The software here will redact ie. HIDE all email addresses you post into this thread. Only Staff will be able to see them. I’ll tag this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  The result of clicking that link is finding out that the site has been hacked and filled with a black hat SEO exploit virus. Thank GOB my virsu removal program caught it and removed it.

  That is not a free hosted WordPress>COM blog. It is hosted by GoDaddy and that means it’s a WordPress.ORG site. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and not for WordPress.org software installs. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names.

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
