trouble with blog url please help

  Hello. I want to change the URL of my blog, which is called ‘World News Review’. The current URL is my user name ‘peaceflowers2014’, which isn’t appropriate. I have tried to change it via my panel, but it does not happen. I have searched for another wordpress site called ‘World News Review’ and it says that the domain is unavailable even though the user has deleted the site. Is it possible for ‘World News Review.wordpress.com’ to become available for me to use seeing as the user has deleted the site? If so when, if not, then why please? Thank you. Otherwise is my only option to start a new blog completely using ”worldnewsreview2014.wordpress.com’ instead & transfer the content from the ‘peaceflowers2014’ blog? I hope you will help me as I want to progress to having a first rate blog. Thank you. Regards from me.

  Hi there,

  I’m afraid once a URL has been used, it doesn’t become available again so World News Review.wordpress.com will not be an option for you.

  You can however change the name of your existing site to worldnewsreview2014.wordpress.com by following the instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  I recommend you also keep your existing blog address (peaceflowers2014.wordpress.com) and use it as a test site or just hold onto it because if you delete it you won’t be able to use it later.
