trouble with categories

  hi, I’m having problems with the configuration of the categories. I create a new category, add at the location indicated and saved, but entering the site, the new categories do not appear, the dashboard stays the same, just showing Uncategorized.

  A category does not appear until it’s been used in at least one post.
