Trouble with changing my email address

Hello,
I can’t seem to change my email address. I’ve updated my Account Settings, and I’ve received a confirmation email, but that confirmation email only has the following:
“Hi there,
We recently received a request to change the email address for the WordPress.com user — from — to —.
If you made this request, you can safely ignore and delete this email.
If you did not request this change, please respond to this email immediately.

All at WordPress.comI’ve read the support files (and other forum posts regarding this subject) but there is no link whatsoever for me to click on. When I get back to my Account Details, the page will only tell me that there is an email address change pending (I can also cancel it).
The change has still not gone through completely. How can I fix this?

Hi there,
In addition to the email you got at your current email address, you’ll also get a confirmation email at the new address you’re changing to. That email will have a link you’ll need to use to confirm the change, before the email address will be updated on your account.
