Trouble with connecting domain to new hosting site

    I created a domain through WordPress.com and now I am wanting to to keep my domain but switch hosting sites. I would like to switch it to Wix.com. I am trying everything I can to make it work, but I can’t figure it out. What am I doing wrong? I am trying to connect http://www.arctaxandaccounting.com but whenever I type the domain into the URL box, it shows up as “www.www.arctaxandaccounting.com”

    Do I need to change the name server and the DNS?
