Trouble with domain mapping
-
Two weeks ago I paid to have my domain mapped to my blog. I did this as my hosting was about to come up for renewal, and I hadn’t been using it like I had in the past, so to save money I decided to just go with a wordpress.com blog. So I went through all the steps listed here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ I’m using zoneedit.com to manage my DNS, which has worked great for years.
The only problems I ran into were:
I can’t delete my ZoneEdit nameservers and replace them all with wordpress name servers, so I added the three listed wordpress name servers.
I can’t may enterlife.net or http://www.enterlife.net to a domain, it has to be an ip address. So I’ve tried the top two of the three ip addresses listed. When I try to access my site, I get a failed to connect error in Firefox. I’ve also tried pulling my feed with feedburner, and it errors out too saying no feed is available.
I’ve been able to access my site a few times, but really randomly, most of the time receiving the same failed to connect error.
In my blog settings I have my domain enabled.
Any thoughts!?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I don’t think you can do that – you’ll have to just add the WordPress nameservers somehow.

So my problem is have two different sets of name servers? If that’s the case does anyone know of another free domain manager that would allow me to do this? I want to retain the ability to control my own DNS, so having wordpress do it won’t work.
