Trouble with follow button

  I added a ‘Follow Blog’ button to my WordPress blog page using HTML. But when I launched my site, the button appeared as HTML script, and not as a button, even though when i previewed the HTML it showed that it would be displayed as a button. Can you help me with this?

  Hi there,

  I managed to reproduce your issue. What you say is correct: in the preview it shows up as a button, but when published it doesn’t.

  The reason this is happening is because the <script> tag is not a supported HTML block tag.

  In fact some HTML tags such embed and frame are also not allowed due to security concerns.

  However there’s an easier option. WordPress.com offers Subscribe Blocks which allow users to keep up to date with your content. Maybe that might help?
