Trouble with Harmonic Theme

  Hi Support Team,

  I really like the look and feel of ‘Harmonic’ – as shown in the demo – but I’m having problem after problem trying to set up the page in a similar fashion myself. I’m looking to use the page as a resource for displaying photographs for sale (so separate portfolios that I can add “by event” will be essential – note that I’m not after online store functionality), but this is one of many issues…

  Firstly – on the lading page, I’d like it to display multiple background images as the viewer scrolls through with the footer buttons at the bottom (as is the case on the demo) but I can’t for the life of me work out what I’m doing wrong to make it not work! Are you able to provide me with an “idiots guide to Harmonic” or something?

  Secondly – I’ve tried everything I can think of to add the portfolios (essentially in the exact format/layout as they appear in the demo) but nothing is working. I’ve added media, I’ve created projects, I’ve tried to add the gallery widget to my “Event Photos” page… but it’s not working and it’s driving me mad!

  Thirdly (speaking of Widgets), I’ve gone through the list of available ones and selected various pages/locations for them but none of them are showing up anywhere. Again, I have exhausted everything I can think of to try to get it to work but nothing I’m doing helps.

  Fourthly (and finally), I note that there’s a section to upload the logo (Appearance>Customise>Site Title, Tagline and Logo) which I’ve done but there doesn’t appear to be any option in any of the admin/settling functions to have it displayed on the page….am I missing something?!
