Trouble with mapping

  Hi
  I am stuck in the process of re-routing traffic from http://www.weyland.no to weylandbio.wordpress.com. I want to buy the upgrade, but I am unable to, because the I get the error message below before I am able to pay:

  “Someone (maybe you?) already registered weyland.no, but the domain is not pointing to WordPress.com.”

  We have tried a number of times to solve the problem, but have not yet succeeded.

  I am not a technical person, so I wonder if you could contact (email visible only to moderators and staff), with referring ticket no [#LLR-559375] to get the parametres right.

  Please confirm further actions.

  Hi. You need to follow the instructions given here to the letter:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
  This means changing your nameservers so that they point to WordPress.com. Only you or your registrar can do it. WordPress.com can’t do it for you.

  Once you do that, send an email to support@wordpress.com so that they add a “zone record” for you (since you are mapping a non-US domain name)

  Did it occur to you that the forum software is intentionally removing your email address for a valid reason? :-) At the right of the screen you’ll find a link to subscribe to this topic. Use it instead of posting on a public forum and asking people to respond to you through another means.

  how can you pay a balance amount. my mapping upgrade seems to have expired but I can’t find where/how to make payment.

  eiod, I have manually added a zone record for your domain. You should now be able to map it here following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  eldecreto, If the upgrade has expired, you can purchase it again by adding the domain via Upgrades -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.

  Excellent – the zone record seems to have fixed the problem! Thank you very much for your assistance. Traffic will be re-routed later this evening. :-)
