Trouble with Mixfolio Theme

  I am trying to make my site look like the model (as shown in the Theme chooser).
  In the Theme Options, it gives you the ability to post a welcome message with some contact info. When I put in my info and save the changes, the contact info that it posts is incomplete (It doesn’t show my twitter info). I just want it to look right!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The article was not helpful for this issue. It just explained how it works, which I had pretty much figured out.

  The article states:

  If you enter your Twitter ID in the respective field, the Welcome area will display a “Follow” link, the Twitter icon, and your latest tweet.

  It doesn’t do this. I get the contact button floating at the top of the area with no twitter info listed. (I tried using my twitter handle by itself and my twitter web address. Neither functioned as advertised.)

  No new thread required and posting anew one does not result in getting an answer any more quickly – it has the opposite effect. The Moderator will move this thread to the themes Forum for you. Yes, you ought to get get notifications if you are subscribed. Please be patient while waiting as it’s unlikely this will happen instantly.

  Hi jllhoss,

  To make the tweet button appear, go to the theme options page (Appearance -> Theme Options) and fill in your twitter username next to where it says “Tweet ID”.

  I did that. It doesn’t appear. As a matter of fact, when I click “Save Changes,” my twitter info disappears.

  It seems like it fails, if your username is prefixed with an @.

  I’ll try to make it smarter about it. In the meanwhile, putting in you username without the @ will work as expected.
