Trouble with Modularity Images

  I understand they need to be a certain width/length. I am having a huge difficulty in finding correctly sized images. Either they are too small and do not show up or are too large and get cut off.

  How can I edit the images? I know go to edit image, but I try to scale it and it does not work. Any tips/suggestions? Thanks
