trouble with pages

    Hi.
    I am very new to wordpress.
    I have been adding pages to my site just fine, but after deleting some pages and re doing them I had two home pages showing.
    But when i went into pages to delete the additional page only one home page was showing.
    I then deleted and trashed all pages, but when I go to the site HOME is still showing.
    When I click on it I get this
    This page doesn’t seem to exist.
    It looks like the link pointing here was faulty. Maybe try searching?
    What is wrong please?

    I have just found it. Its was a link that I must have added. I just went to Appearance, Menus, then deleted the link that was showing as HOME, then Save menu. so simple, Da!!!
