Trouble with PDF images

  Im having trouble trying to upload pdf images, they add to my media collection but you can’t actually see the image it is just a grey and white box. Then when you click on ‘insert into page’ it just inserts the text of what the image is called. Am i doing something wrong?

  My guess is what you’re doing wrong is uploading them as pdf files. Try uploading them as jpeg or gif images.

  PDFs are not images. bob got it exactly right.

  Oh okay, its just on the media upload it said PDFs were an acceptable file so i just presumed they would load like the other files. I tried making it a jpeg but the quality wasn’t good enough, but i will try a giff. Thanks a lot
