Trouble with people I invite seeing the blog

  Hi,
  I have this blog listed as private, and sent address to the people that I want to be able to see it. I helped my parents set it up at their computer, I signed them up for an account and clicked the toggle to just view not to create a blog. We were able to get to my blog but it said it had nothing in it. Then I just signed my daughter up she signed up for an account, got the the welcome, but could not access my blog. I can’t figure out what I am not doing correctly.

  If you have set the entire blog to Private, you will have to Invite her specifically after she’s created her account, using the same email as she used to create the account. Is that what you did?

  Thanks for the help.
  I sent the invitation before she made the account. I just tried to send again, and it said invitation already sent.
