trouble with placment of inserted images

  thank you first of all. I inserted the first image fine with a caption – then the 2nd image inserted fine following the first. then when I tried to insert more images – images 3, 4, 5, 6, etc., when I hit return to create a space between the images to insert, I am not allowed to do so (I tried inserting a space in the HTML tab – didn’t work). I tried inserting anyway and the image went to a random spot within the post. If I want to insert a series of images with or without captions, or some with or some without – how do I insert image 1 hit return, insert image 2, hit return, insert image 3, etc.?

  thank you again. I tried looking at your troubleshooting forums and docs and could not find my problem expressed.

  This sounds like it may be a browser specific issue that clearing browser cache might help. Can you please try clearing your browser cache as a first step?

  If that doesn’t help, what browser and browser version are you using?

  As a possible alternative, if you are inserting that many images, have you considered using galleries instead?
