Trouble with post title.

Hi!
I just published my first post and am very excited about it! However, I noticed when I looked at the post on my site that it says ‘This is the post excerpt.’ underneath the title. I can’t figure out how to delete that as it does not show up when I go in to edit the post.

You can go back and edit the post to include a title for it. Please Read Go Back and Edit Posts https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/#go-back-and-edit-posts and be sure to click Update to publish the after your editing.

Thank you for your help. After looking into it more, I don’t want to take it away but I don’t see a place to edit it. When I go in to edit the blog itself, there is nothing underneath the title and no where to add or edit an excerpt.
