Trouble with preformatted tags
-
On adding preformatted tags the content boxes on the right has jumped to bottom, which looks
very odd. Look at http://nibuthomas.wordpress.com -
I’m not seeing it in Firefox. This sometimes happens when you’ve included an image that is too wide for the column in which you’ve placed it; is that code you’ve posted part of a set-width image? I’ve noticed this error happens in IE much more than in FF, for whatever reason.

Thanks raincoaster,
It’s happening in IE. The preformatted text width is a bit wide, I guess that’s the reason. But I cannot help since it’s a programming blog. Preformatted tags is what programmers want in a their blog.

Maybe you could check http://engtech.wordpress.com as he has analyzed various WP.com templates and you could find one that has a wider content column? Either that or you could change the font size in the code editor.

Hi drmike,
I searched for themes that take in wide text easily, all of them has this problem. May be I should remove the preformatted style, but then indentation goes haywire.
I reduced the width but then also the same problem.
