Trouble with Settings > Reading

  in settings > reading, the option “for each article in a feed, show summary” is not working when I try to change it. Right now, the entire post shows up, but I don’t want that; I want to see just summaries. But it’s not allowing me to do that. Help???

  That’s a common mistake, that option is for your RSS Reader, not your front page feed. To create summaries there, you need to use the ‘more tag’, which you’ll find inbetween the break link button and the spell check button in the visual editor. Just place that wherever you want the summary to end, and a button for continue reading will appear on the front page feed.
