Trouble with spam

    How do I handle an issue where someone is sending a lot of spam from an email address that is not owned by my domain. They are sending it from ‘wordpress’ @ my domain name, and I do not own that ‘wordpress’ email address. I am getting emails from Namecheaps Legal team because of too much spam as a result of this person doing this. Any recommendations? I have Askimet set up on my site now, not sure if that can prevent this person from doing what they are doing.

    Are you able to confirm the URL of the website that you need assistance with please?

    You may be able to stop that with https://akismet.com/ – which is a free plugin.
