Trouble with stats

    Hi,
I how is your day going? I hope it going well.😊
I just have a slight problem, I get comments but my stats dont show that anyone’s viewed/visited my blog, but at the same time it shows a comments been made which is really confusing. How can someone leave a comment if my blog hasnt been viewed?
Someone went and liked my stuff yet it wont show in my stats chart that someone liked anything or even viewed. Its really wierd, I was hoping you might be able to tell me why this is happening?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

In the July 2016 topic No Views @timethief said:

Follow, like, share, reblog or comment clicks are not page views. In fact, follows, likes, shares, comments and reblogs are completely misleading when you are talking about page view stats.

Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com/Gravatar account who is logged into WordPress.com can “follow” your blog, “like”, “share” and “reblog” your posts and “comment” in several locations such as the Reader, without ever clicking into your blog and creating a single page view stat. Subscribers control how frequently they receive your posts (instantly, daily, weekly) and can comment without clicking into the blog.

Logged in visitors using a mobile can read the full post without creating a page view stat. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/wordpresscom-reader-show-full-text?replies=31#post-1373606

    Hi musicdoc1,
    Thank you for coming!
Okay that makes, that would explain alot! But I still am a little annoyed at the whole thing of not being able to know if my blog is even getting views.
Do you know if there is some way to track that in like some extended thing I can add on, so I can really see how my blog is doing view wise and such?

    Hi musicoftheheart17,

Have you read the Stats support page. WordPress.com stats provides daily page view counts for each viewed post, page, etc.

Other free stats analytic tools are available that provide more information than WordPress.com stats. I used to follow my stats on StatCounter quite closely. You just sign up for a membership and put in a widget in the sidebar of your site to get started. Still have it on some sites, but I never look at the stats anymore. If you do a search such as “Statcounter alternatives” or “Statcounter and similar,” you’ll find many similar alternatives.

    Hello musicdoc1,
Thank you so much I really appreciate it! I’m new to blogging. I’ve only been doing it for a few months so some things are still pretty new to me. Thank you for the info!
