Trouble with text colors with Oxygen theme and black background

    Hi,

I have a wordpress blog with the Oxygen theme. I have a black background so in the “recent articles” section, the color for the scroll over text is black, which makes it illegible when the mouse is on the text. An even bigger problem is in the “more articles” section at the bottom of the page–the default font color is black so the article titles don’t show up at all. I haven’t upgraded to CSS yet–is it possible to make these changes without doing the upgrade? If not, what is the CSS coding that I will need to adjust the colors of my post titles in the recent articles and more articles section? Here’s a link to my blog so you can see what I am talking about. Thanks to anyone who can help!

No. In the majority of themes font changes to font families, colors and size in the blog title, tagline, menu, post titles, page titles, categories and tags, widget headings and text, comments, and links cannot be done without CSS editing. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/

Ok, looks like a lot of what I want to do requires the upgrade. Thanks for confirming!

Ok, I purchased the upgrade. In what section of the CSS do I refer to for the “more articles” section??
