trouble with two accounts
-
A year ago I created an account for blogging. I never used it, and pretty much forgot about it. Last night, I started making my website for a small business I have…. and I used the same email address as the one I used a year ago on the account I made for the blog. I didn’t think anything of it because it approved my email, password, username and nothing came up about the other account until I was trying to set up WooCommerce and JetPack…… Now I can’t set up JetPack with my new website, and I can’t figure out how to delete the old. When I download the app on my computer, it will only let me log in under my old account. I even changed both email addresses so that they are completely different, and it still will not log on to my new web page. PLEASE HELP!

I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question

Hi Megan,
Can you please let me know your old WordPress.com account’s username or associated email address (email will be hidden from this thread and be only visible to me)?
Thanks!

Log in to your old account and change its email address to a throwaway one:
Then log-in to your new account and update its email address to the one you used for your old account.
This will resolve the issue you’re having.
If you’re still not able to do so, please let me know and I’ll completely deactivate your old account so that you’ll be able to only use your new account.

Yes,I have already done that. They have completely different email addresses now. I have also gone through and deleted all content in my old account, and out still will not separate the two.
-
Looks like that Jetpack was connected to your old account and I have already removed that connection. Can you please try and connect your site to your new account and let me know if it works or not?
-
It will not recognize my new username, email, or password. The only way I’ve been getting to my page is through the EasyWP email that I received from the download from the place where I bought my domain name.
-
Also, there’s something going on with my EasyWP. I’ve gone through the help desk from namecheap (where I bought my domain) and had my SSL installed. My website will work for a little bit after, then when I go back to it a few hours later, I cannot reach my website as it says in not secure. So far… I’ve been told they think its a bug in the EasyWP because the SSL is correct from everything that’s been checked into. Currently, I still cannot get to my website.

You first need to resolve the SSL issue with your hosting provider to be able to connect your site through Jetpack to WordPress.com.

Ok…. round three. Jetpack was working, then yesterday it said it was having connection issues. Today, I deactivated and deleted Jetpack then added it as a plugin again – connection problem fix. However, my images in my product pages will not show! And, due to the same problem as before, I cannot log in to woocommerce for support because of the crossed lines of the two websites ( old, LadyBrady2010; new, HeartAndSoulCo). Now with all of this mix up, I have no idea what username password works, and anything I’ve put in does not work. I can, thankfully, log on to my new heartandsoulco to the admin page like normal and work on my page. But attempting to log in to the support page for Jetpack or Woocommerce, I cannot. HELP! All I want is my old page completely deleted, and my product images to show!
