Trouble with widget
-
A site I am a member on offered a widget to place upon on our blogs and acted as a eCommerce for online personal training services. When I copy and pasted the snippet to the text field on the new page, the only thing I seen was the actually code that I put in. Is there any particular reason why WordPress isn’t interpreting this code?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Without seeing the code you added, it’s possible the code snippet contained elements that aren’t allowed on WordPress.com.
Not sure if you’ve seen it already, but you may find the info at http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/ helpful in understanding what code is allowed and what’s not allowed on WordPress.com sites.

My apologies, I also meant to include the following link about Affiliate links in my earlier reply. WordPress.com doesn’t allow the use of affiliate links in blog widgets. Here’s more info:

I see, I am sorry I didn’t realize that wasn’t allowed. I’ll be sure to pay attention to that in the future.

Another quick question, I notice that wordpress can be uploaded to web hosting server so you can use it for your web development. Does the rule with affiliate links still not allowed while using wordpress on another web hosting service?

If you have a self-hosted WordPress site, one that you installed WordPress on a web hosting server, you can add your affiliate links.
I found another post you may find helpful; check the reply from thistimethisspace.
