Troublems with theme

Ive been trying to figure out the ‘Oxygen’ theme for quite some time, still figuring, still figuring…what I liked most about the theme was the featured pics at the home page in the demo, the very large picture of the ice and mountains and occilating pictures beneath. I’ve been working my best to find out what setting it is exactly but have had no luck. According to the description it is a sticky note post, but i have used but have not had the desirable effect. Can someone please help me figure this out.

Keep in mind: if you mark a post as Sticky but the featured image is less than 750 pixels wide, then it won’t display in the slider and will still disappear from the river of posts.

Thanks I had over looked that piece of information. You’ve been helpful. Any idea of how to create a mosaic of pictures?
