Troubles with the new Beep-Beep-Boop visual editor

  I am having to be careful to avoid being thrown into this new visual editor, which I do not like at all. I find that if I got to the Dashboard first, then use the menu on the left to “Add new post” for a new post, or go to “All posts” and click “edit” on the one I want to edit, I can avoid the Beep-Beep-Boop problem.

  I really MUCH prefer the current visual editor, which is working well in Firefox. (Chrome, for some reason, always pastes as text and loses links and basic formatting—I’m running the latest versions on the latest version of OS X.)

  Let me point out just one problem with the Beep-Beep-Boop editor: in the visual display it totally destroys formatting in block quotes—converts everything to italic (even though it’s not) and removes all black lines (e.g., between paragraphs). Worse than useless.

  Sorry, I don’t see how to edit my post—is there no edit of posted remarks?

  At any rate, in the next to last paragraph, “black” should be “blank.”
