  I am encountering errors while attempting to import my WordPress blog from Dreamhost to WordPress. Specifically, I am using an XML file exported from the previous hosting provider, which is giving me errors during the import process. The error message suggests ensuring that a valid WordPress export file in XML or ZIP format is being used, and provides further assistance if needed. I have taken several steps on my current hosting provider, including disabling all plugins, confirming admin access, and switching to default plugins. Can you suggest where the problem might be occurring?

  What is the WordPress.com site you are trying to import the site to? I do not see a site under the account you are contacting us from.
  
  Also, were you using the instructions from our support page when attempting the import?
