troubling deleting meta and archives widgets
-
WordPress added the meta and archives widgets automatically to my second sidebar, and I can’t figure out how to remove them. Elsewhere on this forum I read that you can remove them by adding widgets to the second sidebar, but this did not work for me. Instead, it just added my widgets to the space between the content of my blog and the second sidebar. Can anyone help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thank you so much! Now I’m having another problem. All of my pages except my blog page have the “share this” and “leave a reply” options at the bottom. Why the omission? And how do I add them to that page?
Thanks in advance!

Blog pages themselves do not have sharing or comment options because a blog page is more of an index as opposed to an actual page or post.

Is there an option to add sharing, similar to what this person has done? http://robinhersh.com/2014/11/05/lilly-ugh/#more-553

You already have sharing button on the bottom of your posts and if you want to use the other style you can do that. To select round version, pick the “Icon only” option from your dashboard, by going to Settings → Sharing.

No, I believe the page in question (http://wellmomllc.com/blog-2/) does not have that button, as rootjosh noted.

I don’t know what you mean by “that button” because what I can see is sharing icons on the bottom of posts on two blogs. They can be plain like the ones you have on yours or you can have the colorful round ones like the ones on the bottom of the posts in the blog you linked to at http://robinhersh.com/2014/11/05/lilly-ugh/#more-553

My pages have the same sharing buttons as do my posts. The same ability to comment is available on my pages and posts.

That page is your blog index page. And as noted, cannot have sharing buttons. Compare that to this site’s blog index page: http://robinhersh.com/blog/ and you will see that there are no sharing buttons on that page either.

That is an individual post. So yes, that is why you see those sharing options. Your site has sharing buttons on individual posts as well. They look different because you are using a different theme. Goran, the theme that the other site is using, has a set of custom sharing buttons.
