Truly Minimal Theme One Blog Post On Static Front Page

This is my blog: http://lameredenu.com/. Is it possible to display the relevant posts below each post on my front page? Like on this blog, for example: http://ohdeardrea.blogspot.com/. Ideally, I would like for my front page to display only my latest post and a few relevant posts below it so the page doesn’t offer endless scrolling. Help!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi!

First, let’s limit the front page to one post as opposed to displaying 10, which it currently is set to. You can do that by navigating here:

    https://jasmynerose.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

Change the setting for “Blog pages show at most” to “1”. That will ensure that only your latest post appears on the home page.

Now comes the tricky part! There really isn’t a way to display links to relevant posts on your homepage right now. We do have Related Posts, which you’ll see on the bottom of individual post pages like this one:

However, there isn’t a way to activate that on your home page just yet. One alternative would be to switch to a theme that has a footer widget area and placing a widget that displays recent posts at the bottom of your site. We could give that a try!

First, limit the posts on the front page to 1 and let me know what you think!
