Truncating Posts in followers emails

  When I receive new post emails from most of the blogs that I follow, they show up with just a tiny bit of text and then a link that says “read more of this post” and takes you directly to the blog post. I feel like this creates many more views for the blog and I would like to do this for my follower emails. Currently my emails come through with the entire post so people don’t need to go to my blog at all. How do I set it up to cut off and include the “read more of this post” link?

  Hi CoriLu,

  To do this, navigate to your Reading Settings found here:

  https://coriluvintage.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

  From that page, change the setting for “For each article in a feed, show” to “Summary” and save the changes. You should be all set!
