Trust.pro extorting businesses

    The website trust.pro (not trustpilot) is running an extortion scam on the wordpress platform.
    They post hundreds of fake negative reviews on small companies and then demand money to have it deleted.
    As a wordpress user I suggest to stop criminals from preying on people here.

    The site at trust.pro is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, so we have no control at all over that site.

    WordPress is free open source software, made by the community on WordPress.org, that anyone can download and install on their own server to create their own website. We only have control over sites that are using that software on our servers.

    If you believe this site is acting in bad faith, you’ll need to report them directly to their hosting provider instead, who appears to be GoDaddy.com, though they’ll likely only take action if they find the site is in violation of their terms of use.
