    I want to try wordpress before I decide to move. But I am forced to port in my domain name before I can try wordpress?

    WordPress.com offers a free plan, that never expires, and you can create as many sites as you want in your account on the free plan.

    WordPress.com does not offer free trials of the paid upgrade plans, but they offer a full refund if you find a plan that does not meet your needs as long as you cancel within 30 days.
