Try & Customize Venture by Themes Harbor on a WordPress.com website
-
Good morning,
I’ve made different tries with my current wordpress.com hosted blog.
I would like to Try and Customize the Venture Theme before to buy it. However, even if I’ve set up a static home page, I can’t see the result of Venture by Themes Harbor.https://imageshack.com/a/img922/8773/PxNAD9.png
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can go to My Sites → Themes. Click on the three dots to the right of the theme’s name, and then click on Try & Customize.
Than the Customizer will show you a live preview of the theme with your content.
From WP Admin the way to Customizer is Appearance → Themes and the Live Preview button…
In the Customizer you can try everything you need, but it is only a preview. If you do not click on Save & Purchase (for free themes there is Save & Activate). -
Good morning.
Thank you for your quick reply.
The point is there is no preview on Home Static Page. I can’t click Dave and Activate. I’m always redirect to the purchase page.
Is there a way to activate and see preview on home static page.
Thanks -
Activating a theme makes it live on your site to every visitor, so it’s not possible to activate a premium theme before buying it. Previewing gives a rough idea of how it will look on your site, but keep in mind that Venture needs a special homepage template applied, as well as some setup steps, to get a site looking like the demo.
You may want to consider the Premium plan instead of purchasing the Venture theme as a one-off purchase, based on the relative prices. The Premium plan includes all premium themes, as well as other benefits, which you can learn more about here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
Both the plan and the standalone theme are fully refundable for up to 30 days.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

mabuccino – it looks like our Happiness Engineers have told you a couple of times by email how to fix this issue. I wonder if you received any of their messages?
You need to go here and turn off the mobile theme by selecting “No” next to “Enable mobile theme.” here:
https://steamboatinteriors.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=mobile-options
The mobile theme does not need to be active with Venture, because Venture already adjust automatically to different screen sizes.
In future, could you please open a new thread rather than adding on to someone else’s about a different issue? It lets us help people more easily and also prevents others from receiving email notifications about and unrelated issue.
