i try to use the button 2 theme. i actually i have the regualary button theme, but if i click at actiate on button 2 here on wordpress.com, i get the information that it is not available. doesn’t exist it?

Your site http://www.iam-ptsd.de is a Self-Hosted WordPress site and not a site hosted here on WordPress.com. This is a common confusion for users, you can learn more about the two different WordPress platforms here:

You can download the Button 2 theme from the theme page and use it for your Self-Hosted site. You will find this option at the bottom of the theme page(Download button on the right side):

Hi @avaptsd, Go to the Button 2 Theme Showcase Page and scroll to the bottom and there is a link where you can download the Button 2 theme for use on your self-hosted site.

I tried to use this over wordpress, but if i try to activate it, i get the message “it cannot activate. call the support.

Can you take a screenshot of what you are seeing and then upload it to a file sharing service so that I can see it?

I just downloaded and uploaded Button 2 to my test site and had not issues activating it.

Have you had any issues installing other themes, and how long has your site been active? Did you just start, or have you been using it for a while?
