trying hard to form a website but just getting a blog – very very frustrating

  why do i have to have a blog?
  I do not want a blog i only want a website

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Almost any theme can be setup to be just a website. The change is in the settings.

  Try following these steps to setup a static front page for your site and that should do the trick:

  keep in mind that Posts search better than pages (Posts call up search engines each time a new one is published) and are easier to sort
