Trying out a free blog before going live

  I want to see if I can set up a website for my son’s business, but this would be me just experimenting to see what’s possible so I’m not actually ready to establish something with a domain name.

  Is there some way this is possible and if so how do I do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Creating and hosting a site on WordPress.com is free, it comes with a free dotcom address, and as you set up the site, it is set to private by default. Therefore, you won’t need to make the site public until you are done experimenting. Other features such as custom domains would need to purchased as a part of a paid plan: http://wordpress.com/plans
