Trying out WordPress

  As a new ‘potential’ user of wordpress, I want to see how I get on with it before I commit to transferring my website over or indeed leaving where it is, (but understand I need to start playing with DNS settings). All I want to do is build a dummy site to see how I get on with it but can’t seem to see an option for that. Any help/advice appreciated.

  Just create a free site with a wordpress.com subdomain address. You can always upgrade to a paid plan and transfer your domain later.
