Trying to activate a uploaded theme.

    I am attempting (still) to activate and use an uploaded WordPress theme or template on a site. I must admit the hosting is on another hosting service.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there, these forums are for those hosted here at WordPress.com.

    For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help in the volunteer-based WordPress.org forums.

    Generally, after you have downloaded the theme zip file to your computer, you got to Appearance > Themes and then click the Add New button at top, and then click the Upload Theme button and find it on your computer and install it. Do not unzip the download file. WordPress will do that.

    After than you can find it in the list of themes on your site and hover over it and then click the activate button.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are separate, so if you do not already have an account at WordPress.org, you will need to register.
