Trying to add a new static page, and it won't show up even after publishing.

The blog I manage for my boss is http://www.homeownerstoday.com and I am trying to add a new page (with NO parent) to show on the homepage. I have created the “Industry Links” page, written the contact, and selected PUBLISH. Once published, it still does not show on my homepage anywhere. I have tried changing the author and changing the template to Default Template, but nothing seems to work and I don’t really know what I’m doing. I don’t know a thing about coding, and an employee before me built this blog for my boss. I will add that I think the version of the blog we use is hosted by Host Gator, but I still do all my editing and new Posts through logging in to http://www.homeownerstoday.com/wp-admin …PLEASE HELP!
