Trying to add a theme

  Hi

  I have purchased a theme from a company and they have provided the following instructions to upload.

  In the WordPress dashboard:
  1.Click Appearance
  2.Click Themes
  3.Click Install Theme
  4.Click Install Now
  5.Click Choose File
  6.Click Install
  7.Click Activate

  However, I cannot get rid of the Edin theme that I just looked at and I cannot see how to upload this theme. Please can you advise?

  Looking at https://melvilleguesthousebrixhamdotcodotuk.wordpress.com, you appear to have a free WordPress.com site. Because of that, you can only use WordPress.com themes — not custom themes.

  Uploading a third-party or custom theme is possible only on self-hosted sites using the WordPress.org software. This means that you cannot upload any themes to your WordPress.com site.
