What is the initial tag of the widget? Please be aware that only some code is supported on WordPress.com: https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#html-tags
Only sites with the Business Plan can use code not on the list of accepted tags.
If you inform us of your main aim and your code isn’t supported, we may be able to offer some alternatives which can be done on all plans.

So what I am doing is making an authentication system which can also generate html so I want to see if putting that html in wordpress would still have it work. I am a student and I am doing this for a news organization so I just want to make sure that it works correctly. Since I need a business plan to use that I might have to contact the news organization and see if they can test it on their end since I am sure they have the business plan.
