Trying to add new page to Blog
-
For whatever reason I cannot add a new page “About Me” to my blog and have it listed on the front page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The link is appearing exactly where it’s supposed to appear on the menu bar. If you want it to become your front page and force every returning visitor to click through it to locate your most recent post you can do that but I don’t recommend it.
(1) There is only one page we can post to in any blog and
(2) The static pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ we create do not automatically update.By default the front page of the blog http://gimpygurl.wordpress.com/ is the post that displays all posts in your blog.
If you want to have a static front page then you need to create a second page for published posts to display on. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
After you do that you go to > Settings > Reading and make the designation change and click “save changes”.

You’re welcome and best wishes with your blog. :)
On the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the step by step Learn WordPress.com blogging Tutorial prepared by Staff. http://learn.wordpress.com/
The support documentation is all found at the Support link http://en.support.wordpress.com which is also on the bottom of your Admin page.

Just chiming in with an observation.
On your homepage, tara6671, you wrote:
She is strong, sexy, stubborn & spiritual. . . .Therefore, in honor of Paralysis Awareness Month, I give you one of my personal choices of someone I admire and have since I learned about this awe-inspiring woman many years ago.
When you switched from third person (she) to first person in the middle of a paragraph (I, my), I was a bit confused. Until that point, I thought this was Ms Rockwood (or a surrogate of hers) writing in the third person about her. I think you should make it clearer right from the beginning that you are someone who is writing about Ms Rockwood as a friend, employee, admirer, whatever, especially when you switch back and forth between first and third person. I hope you find this helpful, but of course it’s entirely your choice.
.^_^.
