Trying to add Odeo player with a podcast

  I’m trying to add an Odeo player with a podcast to my blog. I succeeded when I used a song, but I want to use a podcast, and it won’t work. I can see the player, but it says, “Loading audio” and won’t play.
  I used this code and tried several variations of it.

  I put audio instead of episodes and took out -Lesson-20-Coffee-Break-Spanish

  I put podcast instead of audio… I’ve tried a lot of variations, but I can’t get it to work.

  Any help?

  I also tried using the Embed code from the Odeo site for the podcast, but it was wiped out when I Published and nothing appeared at all. I wanted my students to listen to it. I could link to it, but it’s much easier to have students do all work they can while at the blog.

  You could just use the audio for each song and put in several Odeo players in a post. It’s a pain, but it will work.

  Alternately, you could ask for some support at Odeo. They do have a support forum there that might be able to help.

  I was using the code for one particular podcast, but the audio wouldn’t load. I didn’t see a support forum at Odeo. I’ll have to look there again. Thank you.

  Are you saying only one particular podcast won’t load? What’s the code you’re using?

  I put the code in my first post. The following is the complete URL, but it doesn’t work with the complete URL. I changed it to audio and took off the title. I put podcast instead of audio. I’ve used a variety of configurations, but it says, “Loading audio” and doesn’t work.

  According to another source, this is the format of the code that should work.

  I tried using that format for a song, and it worked, but the podcast URL at Odeo has more than just the number.

  I tried different podcasts and they didn’t work either.

  Then it’s possible that you can’t do a podcast from Odeo at all. The only shortcode that is mentioned is the shortcode for a single piece of audio, not a podcast.
