Trying to add 'rich snippets' to my blog

  According to Google’s Webmaster tools assessment, one of the reasons that my blog isn’t ranking higher is because I’m missing rich snippets: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/99170?hl=en

  I assumed this would automatically pull from my about text, but I guess not? Is there a way to add a rich snippets to my template?

  And are the tags still in micro formats?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
