Trying to add widgets

  I have tried for many weeks, off and on, to add widgets to the sidebar. I think I am following the step. I go to: Appearance, and choose widgets, and go through the steps, and nothing shows up on my sidebar. I know I am doing something wrong, please help!!!!

  Hey there.

  You have the Ryu theme. This is a full-page theme without a sidebar for widgets.

  However, they do display in your header if you click the first icon, as seen here:

  

  When you click that icon, your widgets open up like this:
